What is kpoparchive.ch?

kpoparchive.ch is a Swiss-based K-pop shop focused on affordable official photocards, albums, and collectible items.

Our goal is to keep K-pop collecting accessible and affordable for fans in Switzerland. From fans, for fans.

We especially focus on

  • Official photocards
  • Affordable albums
Are your items official?

Unless clearly stated otherwise, all photocards and albums sold by us are official merchandise.

Any fanmade items will always be clearly labeled as such.

Why are some items so cheap?

Many items are sourced secondhand from Korea or Japan, where market prices can differ significantly from Switzerland.

Our goal is to keep collecting affordable and accessible for fans without unnecessary markups.

Can I sell my photocards or albums to you?

Currently, we are not accepting customer collections or buy-ins.

However, this is something we may offer in the future.

Where are you based?

We are based in Switzerland and currently only ship within Switzerland.

Photocard Condition

Are your photocards new?

Many photocards we sell are second-hand and may show signs of handling, storage or manufacturing.

What condition can I expect?

SInce most photocards are secondhand, they may show minor signs of wear, handling, or manufacturing imperfections such as

  • light scratches
  • small dents or pressure marks
  • printing dots
  • slight edge wear
  • surface marks
  • minor corner imperfections

These are common within the photocard collecting community and usually do not affect the overall appearance of the item

What counts as damage?

We consider damage significant if it is clearly visible to the naked eye under normal lighting from approximately 20 cm away.

Smaller imperfections may still be mentioned in listings for full transparency but are generally not considered significant enough to affect pricing

Will damaged items be listed?

Yes.

If an item has noticeable damage, this will be mentioned in the listing and reflected in the price.

Items sold with disclosed damage are considered final sale.

Why do photocards sometimes look slightly different?

Photocards may vary slightly in colour, print quality, crop, or finish depending on the production batch.

These variations are normal and do not count as defects.

Albums

Are the albums sealed?

Most albums sold by us are sealed.

We may also occasionally sell

  • opened albums with full inclusions
  • opened albums without inclusions

The condition and contents of each album will always be clearly stated in the listing.

Do opened albums include photocards and inclusions?

Most opened albums sold by us include full inclusions unless otherwise stated.

If an album is missing inclusions, this will always be clearly mentioned in the listing description.

Are sealed albums always perfect?

Not always.

Even sealed albums can arrive with small manufacturing or shipping imperfections due to the delicate packaging commonly used for Kpop albums.

This may include:

  • light dents
  • small scratches
  • slight corner wear
  • minor creases in outer packaging

Minor outer packaging imperfections do not qualify for refunds or replacements.

Will damaged albums be disclosed?

Yes.

Any noticeable or significant damage will be mentioned in the product listing whenever possible and may be reflected in the price.

Do albums include first press or preorder benefits?

Some albums may include additional first press inclusions or preorder benefits.

However, unless explicitly stated in the listing, we cannot guarantee:

  • first press editions
  • limited inclusions
  • special press items
  • preorder benefits

As we source albums from different suppliers and regions, we do not always know which press version an album belongs to.

What if an inclusion inside a sealed albums is damaged?

Manufacturing imperfections can occasionally occur even in sealed albums.

Inclusions such as photocards, postcards, or paper goods may arrive with:

  • light scratches
  • small dents or pressure marks
  • printing defects
  • minor indent lines from production or packaging

These issues occur during manufacturing and are outside of our control.

Because albums are sealed, we are unable to inspect internal inclusions beforehand and therefore cannot guarantee perfect condition for contents inside sealed albums.

Orders & Shipping

When will my order be shipped?

Orders are usually processed within a few business days.

Any major delays will be announced on our website or social media.

Please note that delivery delays caused by Swiss Post are outside of our control.

How are photocards packed?

Photocards are packed carefully using protective sleeves and toploaders or sturdy cardboard packaging to help prevent damage during shipping.

Albums are packaged securely with additional protection whenever needed.

Do you provide tracking?

Yes, all orders are shipped with tracking. You will receive tracking details via email once your order has been shipped.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs depend on the type of items in your order:

  • Photocards and small items: CHF 2.90
    (free shipping on orders over CHF 60)

  • Albums: CHF 8.00
    (free shipping on orders over CHF 100)
Do you ship outside Switzerland?

Currently, we only ship within Switzerland.

What if my package gets returned to sender?

Please make sure your shipping address is entered correctly at checkout.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, reshipping costs may need to be paid again by the customer.

Can I cancel my order?

Order cancellations are generally not guaranteed.

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Once an order has been packed or shipped, cancellations are no longer possible.

Returns & Refunds

Do you accept returns?

Due to the nature of collectible and secondhand items, we generally do not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind
  • Minor manufacturing imperfections
  • Packaging dents on albums
What if my order arrives damaged?

Please contact us within 2 days of delivery with:

  • photos of the item
  • photos of the packaging
  • your order number
  • an unedited unboxing video showing the package being opened

The unboxing video must clearly show:

  • the sealed package before opening
  • the shipping label
  • the contents inside

Without sufficient proof, we may not be able to offer compensation or replacements.

We will review each case individually and try to find a fair solution.

What if my package gets lost?

Tracked shipping helps reduce this risk significantly.

If a package is lost, please contact us and we’ll investigate together with the shipping provider.

Are items with disclosed damage refundable?

No. Items sold with disclosed damage are considered final sale.
